HELPING SOUTH DALLAS FAMILIES FLOURISH.
Providing life’s essentials: diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, & hope.
What is economic choice? For the last two years, children with at least one unemployed parent, coupled with inflation has forced mothers across South Dallas to consider the choice between keeping the utilities and rent paid or buying formula and diapers.
Hattie’s Dry Goods aims to alleviate that choice. Items like diapers, wipes, formula, bibs, bottles, clothing, and more are available to families that qualify. A mother of five children of her own, Hattie is known in the community to be a nurturer, dedicated to give children a loving and fair start to life.
Hattie Harmon, affectionately known as Ms. Hattie, delivers a monthly care package of dry goods and an abundance of joy throughout her hometown of South Dallas.
Cheerfully providing families with the basics to care for their children could mean the world to a family facing the trauma and stress caused by extreme poverty. Donations for the community help God’s plan to provide welfare, a future, and hope. Hattie has been able to supply over 3000 diapers, 417 bottles of baby soap and lotion, bottles, blankets, and so much more!
“Miss Hattie is truly a treasure to her community. She is on a mission to pursue God’s purpose for her life by being a blessing to families in need.”
